Cops have launched a hunt for a missing Scots woman who vanished from her home in Edinburgh. Tara McFarlane was last seen at 9.15am on Friday in the Corstorphine area of the capital.

Police say the 49-year-old has been experiencing 'personal issues' and they are keen to trace her to ensure her safety. She is described as white, 5ft 6ins in height and of medium build with light brown and blonde shoulder-length hair.She was wearing red boots, jeans and a grey jacket.Inspector William Falconer of Wester Hailes Police Station said: “Tara was last seen in the Corstorphine area 9.15am on Friday morning."She headed for the west end area.
