Transport for Greater Manchester said lines of cars queuing for 'up to 60 minutes' were seen in Rochdale today outside the drive-thru vaccine centre stationed at Rochdale Football Club, which is based at the Crown Oil Arena.

Residents say they have been 'unable to get their cars out' of nearby roads. Queues were also seen at the Bowlee Park Community School pop-up site in Middleton.

Those waiting for their vaccine were seen 'turning around' because of queues. The queues come after the borough planned to ramp up
