The image was 'bobbins' but it planted a seed of an idea. Twelve years later that chance meeting with Paul Weller has spawned a movie.

Inspired by the music of probably the coolest 63 year-old in the country, Salfordian Chris, wrote a script. Named after a song by the star, Pebble and the Boy, it is a present day road movie steeped in Mod culture.

Weller has given his blessing to the film and allowed four of his songs to be used on the soundtrack. But the film is more than an odyssey from Manchester to Brighton by a lad on a Lambretta scooter
