He might be best known for his 'bad boy' character Warren Fox in Hollyoaks but Jamie Lomas is also making waves when it comes to working behind the camera. The 48 year old recently produced and starred in Lead Belly, a hard-hitting short film which raises awareness about the ex armed forces personnel living on the streets, and is now back with another about online grooming. This time around though, Jamie enlisted the help of his good friend Peter Andre and son Junior for the project and exclusively told OK!: "This project is really important to me so I contacted Peter Andre - a good friend of mine - to help spread awareness on the dangers of online grooming. "I knew that his son Junior was really interested in acting as well, so I asked if he'd take part." Jamie, who recently got engaged to girlfriend Jess Bell following an elaborate Mexican proposal, then revealed that the Mysterious Girl singer jumped at the chance as it was a subject he felt strongly about. "I asked Peter how would he and Junior feel about being in the film, and he said he'd love to.

He's obviously a parent himself and said he would help in anyway he can. It's great to have them both on board," the actor said. The former I'm A Celebrity star then spoke about why he wanted to put a spotlight on online grooming for both kids and their parents: "The statistics of children being groomed online are shocking.

And as a parent, it is completely unacceptable and I felt something needed to be done. I'm hoping this film and my voice will raise awareness." And speaking of the hit reality TV show located in the Australian jungle, Jamie admitted he'd jump at the chance to give it another go. "I've been keeping an eye out for this year's line up - I'd love to do it.
