Parents across the country are eligible for Tax-Free Childcare which will prove especially useful with the upcoming Easter school holiday.

The scheme is available for parents with children aged 11 or under (16 and under if the child has a disability) and helps pay for 'approved' childcare.

Parents can receive up to £500, or £1,000 if a child is disabled, every three months. HMRC has also stated every £8 paid into an account will receive a top-up of £2 from the government.

However, not all parents will be eligible for the scheme as some strict conditions must be met.
