An Asda worker has been hailed a hero after saving an elderly woman who fell while using a cashpoint. Khawaja Hayee, fresh produce assistant at Oldham's Hollins Road store, helped the woman into a wheelchair and, with the help of a colleague, pushed her all the way home.
Management at the store revealed his good deed on Facebook saying student Khawaja has now been nominated for a customer service award.
