Helen Skelton has landed herself a new job presenting Channel 4's Super League, just weeks after announcing her shock split from her pro player husband Richie Myler.The Countryfile presenter, 38, who was left "bewildered" by the breakdown of her nine-year marriage, will front the coverage of the rugby show in June.This comes after just days after the it was reported that Richie, 31, is reportedly dating Leeds Rhinos' President Andrew Thirkill's daughter and has "jetted abroad" with the 31 year old.

According to the MailOnline, the rugby player started dating the millionaire's daughter in the wake of the breakdown of his marriage - which came just four months after he and Helen welcomed their first daughter, a baby girl named Elsie Kate, who is the youngest sibling to their sons Ernie, six, and Louis, four.

According to The Sun sportsman Richie had reportedly been "spending a lot of his free time with this younger, successful businesswoman" since the split, but the mystery woman wasn't named. "Helen’s holding it together well, which is admirable given she was blindsided by his new relationship," one source told the publication, going on to claim that mutual friends of the pair believe Richie has treated his wife "appallingly". "It’s a shock to them that he’s moved on so soon after she announced the marriage was over," the insider added.
