Heavy snow causes Boxing Day travel disruption on North West roads and motorways

Parts of Greater Manchester could see blizzard-like conditions today (December 26), forecasters have warned. The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for snow in Northern England with heavy downfalls already causing travel problems in the early hours of Sunday morning.

National Highways warned of hazardous driving conditions on the M62 between junctions 21 for Milnrow and 23 for Huddersfield overnight.
