Hamilton Accies will hope to increase their lead over Championship basement battlers Dunfermline Athletic, when the Pars visit New Douglas Park on Saturday.Stuart Taylor's side go into the game on the back of a 2-0 defeat at Kilmarnock, while Dunfermline lost 1-0 at league-leaders Arbroath. That leaves Accies seven points clear in eighth place, and they will be looking to give themselves more breathing space. Both sides go into the game on a similar run of form, with one win each in their last six games.Hamilton hold a slight edge in that regard, with four draws and a defeat, while John Hughes' side secured three draws and two defeats.A home win could make all the difference to Accies, and could move them back up to sixth, while Dunfermline might overtake Queen of the South, depending on the Dumfries side's result against Raith Rovers, and would bring them to within four points of their hosts. With capacity crowds allowed into stadiums, tickets are still available for the game.

If you can't make it to New Douglas Park, a live stream of the game is available on Accies TV here, priced at £10, and coverage starts at 2.15pm.

Referee for Saturday's game is Greg Aitken, who will be assisted by Craig Ferguson and Graham Chambers.Aitken has been in charge of 23 games this season, issuing 77 yellow and seven red cards. He was last in charge of a game involving Hamilton when they lost 4-0 at Arbroath on September 11, during which Jamie Hamilton was sent off.Aitken has been in charge of Dunfermline much more recently, officiating their 2-0 win at Queen of the South on January 29.Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
