The Guild of Music Supervisors will launch a free weekly online educational series Thursday featuring top music supervisors, composers and artists.
While geared for students, it is open to all.The virtual conversation, which is in partnership with Mondo.NYC, kicks off with "Staying Creative: Creating Music for Film/TV/Visual Media." Moderated by music supervisor/filmmaker Jonathan McHugh, the panelists include music supervisors Jen Malone (Euphoria, Atlanta), Tracy McKnight (Free Solo, Hunger Games) and Joel High (Medea), as well as recording artists Amy Helm, PJ Morton and Citizen Cope.McHugh, an adjunct professor at American University, was slated to host an industry event in Washington, D.C., in late March with representatives from CAA,.
