The actor who played Mr Llewellyn in Grange Hill, Sean Arnold, sadly passed away recently following a long battle with an illness.
A member of Sean’s family revealed to ITV News that he was 79 years old when he passed away on April 15. According to ITV, his last wishes were to have his ashes scattered at Beauport Way between Jersey and England.
It was also revealed that, due to the current lockdown measures in the UK, only one family member will be able to attend his cremation.
Sean was also well known for portraying Superintendant Barney Crozier in Bergerac, a crime show set in Jersey. One of his fellow Bergerac co-stars, John Nettles, paid tribute to Sean, calling him ‘one of his best friends’ for 40 years.
