GOGGLEBOX fans have been left sobbing after Julie Malone broke down while watching The Dementia Choir. Viewers were reaching for the tissues as Julie cried at the emotional scenes in the BBC documentary hosted by actress Vicky McClure.
Before she, husband Tom Snr and their son Shaun had tuned in, Julie revealed why it was going to be a tough watch for her. She said: "We know about this only too well because of my mum." The Malone family and their fellow Gogglebox stars were shown an emotional clip of a chap called Mick, who had been diagnosed with dementia when he was 51.
Now four years on, he has deteriorated significantly and was struggling to sing his line as the choir recorded their charity single.

All the stars of Gogglebox were left in tears when Mick finally nailed his line, much to the relief of his emotional wife Karen.
