A segment of Good Morning Britain has received nearly 1,500 complaints over the reporting of an ‘anti-vaccine’ leaflet by a regular contributor.
The discussion of a coronavirus ‘yellow card reporting system’ was flagged up by Dr Hilary Jones on the ITV show after he claimed the letter was “complete misinformation.” The initial broadcast on November 1 sparked complaints to the TV regulator, which received nearly 1,500 grievances.
Dr Jones raised issue with the leaflet, which falsely claimed to be from the UK Government stating the ‘risks’ associated with receiving the covid vaccination.
These were branded as “dangerous” by Dr Hilary who then handed the leaflet to GMB presenter Richard Madeley who ripped it up live o n TV.
