THERE is no doubt about it, at its peak it really was the greatest show to ever grace ITV’s screen. With weekly viewing figures at 14million, a huge, intricate set, vast rigging and production crew, a cast of dancers, performers and a couple of average presenters, this was light entertainment on a scale previously unseen.
