International sales of French TV shows topped €203M (U.S.225M) in 2023, down 5.3% with buyers more reluctant to splash the cash than in the previous year.
The sales downturn comes after a bumper 2022, which made year-on-year comparisons tough, and the total still marks only the third time ever that French program exports have topped the €200M threshold.
