The bunch of flowers has been placed by the side of water where a 19-year-old man's body was recovered at around 7.40pm last night.
The body was found after a huge search operation involving Greater Manchester Police, the fire service and a police helicopter.
Officers were initially called to the scene, which was full of families and friends relaxing in the sun, at around 4.40pm to reports of concern for a man who was in the water.
