AC Milan star Filippo Maniero signed for Rangers in 2005 then barely kicked a ball again. And 15 years later the Italian striker has lifted the lid on one of the Ibrox club's strangest signings - a move he has branded the worst decision of his life.

Alex McLeish captured Maniero's signature on deadline day after skint Serie B side Torino had just released a raft of players.
