EMMERDALE’S evil DI Malone has proven to be more than a match for Cain Dingle tonight with his Line of Duty style corrupt cop organisation in his pocket.

The corrupt police inspector - who is played by actor Mark Womack in the ITV soap - has snared Cain in his drugs operation. After forcing Cain to deliver his drugs Malone threatened to kill Moira and tried to force Cain into joining his gang. “You seem to be mistaking me for someone who won’t shoot your kneecaps off,” Malone said brandishing his gun. “I know where your family live, I know where your daughter lives in Scotland,” he added as Malone began bragging about his criminal empire.
