A man left elderly residents in distress after he forced his way into two homes in Airdrie. The suspect targeted the Larkhall properties “in error” and left elderly householders “extremely shaken” and “distressed”.

One couple's property was targeted by an object deliberately thrown through the window of their home in Drygate Street on Saturday night.At around 00.10am on Sunday morning, a man forced his way inside.The man, realising he was in the wrong house, quickly left.The OAPs were not injured but were left “extremely shaken” by the incident.The suspect then forced entry into their neighbour’s property, an elderly woman, and once again realised he had made a mistake and entered the wrong home.He then made off, leaving the resident
