East Kilbride houses highest number of sex offenders in Lanarkshire

Lanarkshire is home to nearly 600 registered sex offenders.Alarming statistics from Police Scotland show that the county has the second highest number in the country - with 577 living in the community and 178 in police custody or in hospital.This is a seven per cent rise in the overall number of 536 last October.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
