Dundee United have launched an investigation after Aberdeen star Funso Ojo appeared to be shoved by a fan at Tannadice. The midfielder was shown a second yellow card by referee Bobby Madden after an incident near the Eddie Thompson Stand during Saturday's Premiership clash.
Chasing a ball, Ojo's momentum carried him onto the pitchside track where he was then allegedly pushed by a home supporter.And now United have confirmed they have launched a probe into the matter.
A club statement said: " Dundee United can confirm that an investigation has commenced into an incident during today's game.
We will make no further comment at this time." United boss Tam Courts said he wasn't surprised to see Ojo sent off.He said: "No.
