Dundee computer design event to show off best of Scots talent

Abertay University’s hugely anticipated Digital Graduate Show kicks off this weekend after two years online. The much anticipated event will showcase some of Scotland’s brightest design talent.

More than 80 innovative honours projects will be on display covering everything from computer arts, animation, applied games, programming and games design, through to UX, motion capture, 3D modelling, virtual/augmented reality and emerging tech.

A university spokesman told Dundee Live: “Whether you’re into technology and digital design, interested in getting into games or immersive experiences, or just keen to find out more about Abertay’s wide range of degrees, then this is the show for you.“For the first time, ADGS will be held in the heart of Abertay’s Centre for Excellence in Computer Games Education where you’ll have the chance to play games, meet students, view our graduates’ work, chat to exhibitors and meet up with people in the local digital and creative industries.”Suitable for all ages, the Abertay Digital Graduate Show will be open to the public from 12pm to 4pm on Friday 27 May, with a feast of additional content running on the Abertay University website and digital channels.No booking is needed – just head along on the day to play, engage and celebrate. - More information can be found on the university’s website here. **Don't miss the latest headlines from around Dundee and Tayside.
