The first teaser trailer for "Downton Abbey: A New Era" has arrived, revealing that the story will center around Violet Crawley's (Maggie Smith) "mysterious past" and how it will affect the entire family's present -- as she is now in possession of a villa in the South of France."Years ago, before you were born, I met a man," Violet, the Dowager Countess of Grantham, says to a her son Robert, the Earl of Grantham (Hugh Bonneville), her daughter Lady Rosamund (Samantha Bond), and hergranddaughter Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery).
