Residents reported hearing 'explosions' last night after the huge fire broke out at Lower Horseley Field, reports Birmingham Live.
The first fire crews were at the scene within five minutes of the alarm being raised on December 5, said West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service (WMFRS).
Residents have since been evacuated to two nearby leisure centres, due to the amount of smoke and nearby roads have been closed.Images from the site show flames engulfing buildings and thick black smoke billowing into the sky .
