House fire in Fife as emergency services confirm 'one casualty' during incident

Emergency services battling a house fire in Rosyth have confirmed one casualty was involved in the incident.The blaze took hold of a first floor bedroom on Gill Way in Rosyth, Fife, on Friday afternoon (December 23).The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called to the scene around 12.49pm and crews are still in attendance.

They confirmed to the Record there was "one casualty" involved in the incident.The condition of the casualty is currently and known, with the incident still ongoing.A Police Scotland spokesperson said officers were made aware of the incident at 12.50pm but it was being dealt with by Scottish Fire and Rescue (SFRS) colleagues.A SFRS spokesperson said: "We are in attendance at Gill Way where there is a fire within a first floor bedroom.
