Scott Patel was snared by police on the M62 while “stupidly” transporting £1m worth of cocaine from Liverpool to Manchester.

Officers found an 'enormous amount' of the drug stashed behind secret panels in a Ford C-Max. Patel has now been jailed for six years following a sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court today (May 19) “It was a running jump into the deep end of criminal activity,” said his barrister Tom Watson.
