There’s some good news for all you DIY nuts – as architect Dermot Bannon has confirmed that RTÉ’s home renovation series Room To Improve will be back for a new series later this year.
Bannon, 49, revealed the show is in ‘full swing’ and will definitely air this autumn, all while adhering to public health and safety guidelines.
He said: ‘All of our jobs are on site at the moment and it is all going really well. We have had good projects coming up because we had all of last year to go out and find the right ones. ‘We had to get planning on all of them so it’s a great series.’ The TV star, who lives in Drumcondra with his wife and three children, had to adjust to new ways of filming to ensure the safety of the crew.
