Former SFA boss Stewart Regan insists the need for four games between Celtic and Rangers every season means reconstruction will never happen in the Premiership.
And he reckons that it was the wrong time to do it anyway with the coronavirus crisis hanging over the game. Regan served as chief executive of the SFA for eight years between 2010 and 2018 and was part of previous talks about reconstruction.From his experience, the 58-year-old reckons there's next to no chance of reconstruction ever being achieved in Scotland because clubs don't want to lose out on TV money.He said: “The current format is led by the broadcaster and predicated off the back of four Glasgow derbies.
