SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster has warned of an "extremely challenging" financial picture for Scottish clubs. Football has been shut down since March due to the coronavirus crisis, leaving clubs with little or no income.
The Championship, League One and League Two have already been declared over, allowing prize money to be paid out. The same decision could be taken for the Premiership on a points-per-game basis, crowning Celtic as champions and relegating Hearts.
But the chief executive of the SPFL has warned that, even when £7million in prize money is distributed, clubs face a difficult financial outlook.
