Cyclist loses fight for life after horrific crash with lorry in Aberdeenshire

cyclist has sadly lost his fight for life after being involved in a crash with a lorry in Aberdeenshire.Rikki Gault, 30, suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision on Low Street, Banff, at around 2.20pm on Friday August 7.All three emergency services raced to the incident outside Wilson Defence Solicitors in the town.Rikki, from Aberdeenshire, was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries but has since sadly died.His family have now tribute to the tragic Scot, saying: "Rikki lived life to the full and will be sorely missed".They have also requested privacy at this difficult time.A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.The street were the crash took place was closed for around eight hours as officers carried.
