Grandfather-of-three Andrew Allan, originally from Edenfield, died at on Sunday, April 18 following a tragic medical episode, aged 71.

A keen guitarist and golfer, the former BRGS student ran the Andy’s Records stall on Bacup Market for several years back in the 1980s, LancsLive reports.

While Yorkshire born, he had moved to Edenfield aged five, where his parents ran the sub-post office, and then to Bacup in 1972.
