Couple who assisted asthma attack sufferer furious at Sainsbury's manager who assumed he was drunk

Sainsbury's store. 40-year-old Chris Smith reports that he was suddenly struck down with the asthma attack after he had completed his shopping in the superstore on the afternoon of August 13 and that he was sat outside for 20 minutes before Teejay Withington and Hollie Hughes stopped to help him.Mr Smith stated: "I was struggling to get any oxygen into my body.

I was sat outside thinking 'I'm not going to die outside of a Sainsbury's am I?'"Yorkshire Live reports that Mr Withington claimed that the manager of the store emerged when they had stopped to help and dismissed Mr Smith as being "either drunk or on drugs ".
