Coronavirus infection rates are continuing to fall in all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester, according to the latest figures.
Rates have dropped by more than 40 per cent in some local authority areas. Trafford continues to have the highest coronavirus infection rate in Greater Manchester, with a rate of 411.2 cases per 100,000 people in the week ending April 8.
The lowest infection rate is now in Manchester, where the rate is 258.6 cases per 100,000 people. In Greater Manchester as a whole, the infection rate is now 317.7 cases per 100,000 population.
The infection rate in the region is lower than the national average, which is 434.3 cases per 100,000 people.
