Coronation Street star Jodie Prenger has joked she's after someone else's job as she enjoyed spending her time away from the cobbles with some very adorable friends.

It may be no secret to fans of the actress that she is a huge animal lover. Jodie, who joined the ITV soap last year as Glenda Shuttleworth, revealed last year that at the time she had three rescue cows, three rescue ducks, three cats and three dogs...

She also said: "I also have about 17 rescue chickens including my cockerel, Harry," during a chat with the Manchester Evening News.

But earlier this year, Jodie added another dog to her family and used the opportunity to pay her own tribute to the late Paul O'Grady who sadly died around the same time.
