The actor is famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap. He made his Weatherfield debut, aged 15, in November 1998 in the role of the delinquent son of Jackie Dobbs.
At sixteen, he left his mother and her difficult ways behind and trained as an apprentice mechanic under Kevin Webster and 10 years later ended up buying half the business. But away from his Weatherfield alter-ego, Alan is often keeping his fans and followers up to date with what he's up to, whether that's winding away some time on the golf course or spending quality time with his daughter, Sienna, who he shares with his Corrie star ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson.
