Gabriela and Monica Irimia, the iconic Cheeky Girls duo, dazzled audiences in Chester while dressed to the nines in their signature boob tubes and hot pants to perform their top 10 banger "Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum)" during the city's exuberant Pride celebrations.
Sporting matching silver ensembles complemented by towering sandals, the Romanian twins wore their locks in playful side ponytails.
But that's not all Gabriela and Monica, both 41, even donned rainbow face paints to get into the festive spirit. Fans at Chester Pride couldn't contain their excitement, as one gushed on social media, "Absolutely loved seeing The Cheeky Girls!" Meanwhile, another reveller celebrated on TikTok, saying, "Well pride this year was so good, 12 year old me would be very very happy!" The Cheeky Girls shot to fame with their unforgettable Popstars: The Rivals audition in 2002 - the same ITV talent show that birthed Girls Aloud and One True Voice.Though the boys didn't quite hit the big time, it certainly opened doors for Gabriela and Monica, spring boarding them to release "Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum)" the following year, a cheeky number inspired by their original audition that had the judges in stitches.
