Selome Hailu CBS has given a pilot order to “East New York,” a drama series written by William Finkelstein and Mike Flynn.The series follows Regina Haywood, the newly promoted police captain of East New York, an impoverished, working class neighborhood at the eastern edge of Brooklyn. She leads a diverse group of officers and detectives, some of whom are reluctant to deploy her creative methods of serving and protecting during the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification.Finkelstein is best known for his writing and producing work on a number of police and legal dramas.

It's Kevin Keller's time to shine.  Sure, tonight's musical episode of Riverdale has a lot to deal with in terms of typical core four drama and those mysterious video tapes that have been making their way around town, but it's Kevin (Casey Cott) who organizes a rebellion against Principal Honey when he won't allow anyone to perform a number from the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch in the school variety show. It's also Kevin who gets to get all dolled up as Hedwig herself, and perform in the halls of Riverdale High.

Casey Cott, 27, underwent an extreme hair makeover for the sake of charity. The Riverdale star completely shaved his head along with his 30-year-old brother, fellow actor Corey Cott, to raise funds for the non-profit organization Charity Water. All donations to “The Cott Quarantine Cut” project would help the non-profit “bring clean and safe drinking water to an entire community,” according to the campaign’s page. The brothers revealed their buzzcut makeovers in Casey’s Instagram post on April 5, and it was quite a change!
