Carlos Alcaraz is making history. The 21-year-old Spanish tennis player defeated Germany’s Alexander Zverev on Sunday (June 9) at the French Open, his first Roland Garros title and securing his third Grand Slam title.
He also carried on the tradition of Spain’s Rafael Nadal, who won a record 14 French Open championships from 2005 through 2022.
