It’s the same role Houston played in the 1997 TV-movie with Brandy in the title role.“My 14-year-old sissy self is doing backflips, spinning around like the Tasmanian devil,” Porter told me at the “Cinderella” premiere Monday night at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. “My goal as a young teenage boy was to be the male Whitney Houston so I get this call and I just screamed, ‘I got the Whitney Houston part.
