Calypso and Asda’s own brand juices recalled amid concerns they contain metal in straws

Customers have been warned that the straws that come with the juice drinks may have metal within them making them ‘unsafe’. The Calypso juices affected are the 150ml orange juices with the best before dates Oct 24, Nov 24 and Dec 24 and the 150 ml apple juices with the best before dates Nov 24 and Dec 24.
Refresco Beverages UK Limited is urging anyone who has bought the juices not to use the straw and to return the drink to the store they bought it from to receive a full refund.
The Asda juices that have been recalled include six Asda brand multipack juice drinks. They include the Asda Orange Juice from concentrate 3 x 150ml , the Asda 100% Pure Apple Juice from concentrate 3x 150ml, the Asda Just Essentials Orange Juice from concentrate 3x 150ml, the Asda Apple and Blackcurrant Juice Drink 5x150ml , the Asda Apple and Mango Juice Drink 5x 150ml and the Asda Apple and Pear Juice Drink 5x150ml.
