Former boxing world champion Scott Harrison has announced his retirement from the sport, and revealed that his dad Peter is suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease.The 44-year-old from Cambuslang posted news of his retirement two days after his latest fight was cancelled moments before the opening bell.Razak Nettey pulled out of their proposed fight in Wishaw on Saturday evening.Harrison Tweeted: “I would like to announce my retirement from boxing, more bad memories than good.“Should have [kept] working for the council as a joiner.
