dailyrecord.co.ukJoin thousands of others and get the latest Scottish crime and courts news sent straight to your inbox with our daily Criminal Record newsletter.A sozzled motorist was almost seven times over the legal limit when he carved up a McGill’s bus and crashed into a HGV.Crawford Sharp, 38, was found with a bottle of vodka stashed in the door pocket of his black BMW 3 series, following the smash on Paisley Road, Renfrew, on April 19.There was also an empty bottle of Barr’s Cola, which smelt heavily of vodka, lying on his passenger seat.Paisley Sheriff Court heard Sharp abruptly cut in front of the McGill’s passenger bus on Paisley Road and ploughed into a lorry waiting at traffic lights on Wright Street in the town, at around noon.He then pranged.
