Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A minister who offered comfort to traumatised guests in the aftermath of the Cameron House blaze says the shocking failures will stay with residents for a long time.Rev Ian Miller spoke to many of those who were evacuated to the nearby Boat House restaurant as a fire tore through the luxury hotel on December 18, 2017.On Friday, bosses at the five-star resort admitted failings which caused the horror fire which killed couple Simon Midgley, 32, and Richard Dyson, 38.Night porter Christopher O’Malley, 35, of Renton, also previously pleaded guilty to failing to take reasonable care for the health and safety of others after he placed a bag of fireplace ash.
