Shameless Cameron House bosses fail to apologise to grieving families of guests killed in fire caused by their failings

Loch Lomond. Their families finally received answers in court about the tragedy on Friday as Cameron House bosses admitted safety failings.

However yesterday, a representative declined to comment and send a direct message to the grieving families, despite it emerging in court that the hotel was directly to blame for the blaze.

Night porter Christopher O’Malley placed hot ash in a plastic bag which he then left in a cupboard - starting the fire.The hotel's management had previously been given strong warnings from the fire service about this practice.

Although expressing remorse through their lawyer at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday, the board of directors have since went quiet.
