Bolton Wanderers 'looking into' possibility of having reserves, B team or under-23s set up

Wanderers statement at the time said that the club's Academy would continue with teams in the under nines to under-18s age categories.

The restructure was completed earlier this year and is under the guidance of the the experienced Mark Litherland, who joined the club in August.

The decision to discontinue Bolton's under-23s set-up was made before Evatt became Wanderers manager last summer. Evatt has previously admitted the potential of organising friendlies to give squad players games, in lieu of reserve team football not being at their disposal.
