Let’s Stay Together, has passed away.According to TMZ, Belasco was set to start a new acting role in Virginia at the time of his death.

His father found his body in a hotel room in Richmond on Sunday, after Belasco’s girlfriend was unable to get in touch with the actor.

No official cause of death has been determined, though there was allegedly blood found on the sheets at the time. Belasco’s father suspects that he had an aneurysm.Best known for his portrayal of Charles Whitmore on the BET series, Belasco also appeared in Fox series Pitch, as well as The Soul Man, NCIS: New Orleans and I’m Dying Up Here.
