Below Deck Down Under‘s Captain Jason Chambers is speaking out to address his decision to fire two crew members for inappropriate behavior.
If you missed it, both Luke Jones, a bosun, and Laura Bileskalne, second steward, were let go after chief steward Aesha Scott informed Jason that they had behaved incorrectly with fellow crew members.
His decision was shown on screen in a recent episode of the Bravo series. In the aftermath, he took to social media to address what happened. Read more about Below Deck Down Under… On Wednesday (August 9), Jason spoke to his fans in a video shared on Instagram. “Hi everybody, I’m sure you’re digesting episode six and seven as I am,” he started the clip. “I’ve had a flood of messages over the last 24 hours from people in similar situations, some not so lucky of the outcome, so my heart goes out to them.” “I like to thank the production team for breaking the fourth wall, and stepping in.
Then reforming and allowing Aesha to come to me in an authentic manner and us dealing with it as we would as captain and crew,” he continued. “I don’t know what goes on when crew go out, I am not told,” Jason explained. “If it’s inadequate behavior, production would inform me.
