New BBC The Traitors star Brian Davidson has been overwhelmed with support following the announcement he's one of the fresh crop of contestants pitting their wits against each other in season two, which launches tonight.

The Glasgow photographer, 33, is one of three Scots taking part in the BBC reality show hosted by Claudia Winkleman and filmed at Ardross Castle in the Highlands.

Taking to social media to thanks pals and followers on Instagram who sent messages of support after the lineup of 22 participants was revealed, Brian said he expected the reaction to be "crazy" but he was blown away by the well wishes.

He added: "I could have stayed on my phone all night!"Brian, who was inspired to apply for the programme after enjoying series one, was walking through London as he recorded the footage for his Instagram stories, then revealed he'd been at a glitzy preview screening with his fellow Traitors stars including Claudia last night as he added: "We were all screaming at the screen! "I can't wait for the episode to go out tonight." The excited reality star then revealed he's swapped the bright lights of Scotland's biggest city for the capital and is spending the day ahead of his big TV debut soaking up the sights of east London as he walks round Shoreditch to take photos.
