The Nest has had viewers gripped over the last few weeks as a couple went on an unusual journey to have a family of their own.

The Glasgow-set BBC drama kept us on the edge of our seats throughout the five episodes as wealthy Emily (Sophie Rundle) and Dan (Line of Duty's Martin Compston) used troubled teenager Kaya (Sex Education's Mirren Mack) as their surrogate.

As events unfolded, viewers found out that Kaya wasn't exactly who she said she is and Dan and Emily's chances of becoming parents almost reached a crushing end.
