Angela Rippon has asked fans to 'wish her luck' as she broke her silence after being saved on Strictly Come Dancing sparked outrage.
Fans of the BBC One dance contest last saw the veteran broadcaster in the ballroom over the weekend. Angela impressed the judges on Saturday night (November 11) during her latest stint in the ballroom with her professional dance partner Kai Widdrington.
The pair were hoping to bounce back from being in the dreaded dance-off the weekend before with their Paso Doble to Madonna’s Hung Up.
But during her dance, Angela slipped and the error was noticed by head judge Shirley Ballas. Despite the mistake, Angela received high scores from the judging panel with Shirley saying the slip 'didn't matter' while fellow judge Motsi Mabuse told her: "This Paso is going to Blackpool."
